उ॒नत्ति॒ भूमिं॑ पृथि॒वीमु॒त द्यां य॒दा दु॒ग्धं वरु॑णो॒ वष्ट्यादित् । सम॒भ्रेण॑ वसत॒ पर्व॑तासस्तविषी॒यन्त॑: श्रथयन्त वी॒राः ॥
उनत्ति भूमिं पृथिवीमुत द्यां यदा दुग्धं वरुणो वष्ट्यादित् । समभ्रेण वसत पर्वतासस्तविषीयन्तः श्रथयन्त वीराः ॥
unatti bhūmim pṛthivīm uta dyāṃ yadā dugdhaṃ varuṇo vaṣṭy ād it | sam abhreṇa vasata parvatāsas taviṣīyantaḥ śrathayanta vīrāḥ ||
English translation:
“Varuṇa waters earth, mid-air, and heaven, when he plural ases (to send forth) the milk (of the cloud); thereupon the mountains cloth (their summits) withthe rain-cloud, and the hero, (Maruts), exulting in their strength, compel (the clouds) to relax.”
