क्षेत्र॑स्य पते॒ मधु॑मन्तमू॒र्मिं धे॒नुरि॑व॒ पयो॑ अ॒स्मासु॑ धुक्ष्व । म॒धु॒श्चुतं॑ घृ॒तमि॑व॒ सुपू॑तमृ॒तस्य॑ न॒: पत॑यो मृळयन्तु ॥
क्षेत्रस्य पते मधुमन्तमूर्मिं धेनुरिव पयो अस्मासु धुक्ष्व । मधुश्चुतं घृतमिव सुपूतमृतस्य नः पतयो मृळयन्तु ॥
kṣetrasya pate madhumantam ūrmiṃ dhenur iva payo asmāsu dhukṣva | madhuścutaṃ ghṛtam iva supūtam ṛtasya naḥ patayo mṛḻayantu ||
English translation:
“Lord of the field, bestow upon us sweet abundant, (water), as the cow (yields her) milk, dropping like honey, blend as butter; may the lords of the water make us happy.”
