कौरवाणां कुले राजा
परीक्षिद् इत् विश्रुतः
तस्य पुत्रो ऽति-तेजस्वी
विख्यातो जनमेजयः
kauravāṇāṃ kule rājā
parīkṣid it viśrutaḥ
tasya putro 'ti-tejasvī
vikhyāto janamejayaḥ
kauravāṇām—of the Kauravas; kule—in the dynasty; rājā—the king; pasrīkṣit—Rapīkṣit; it—thus; viśrutaḥ—famous; tasya—of him; putraḥ—the son; ati—very; tejasvī—powerfgul; vikhyātaḥ—famous; janamejayaḥ—Janamejaya.
English translation of verse 5.24.81:
In the Kaurava dynasty King Parīkṣit will be famous. His very powerful son Janamejaya will also be famous.
