विष्णु-भक्ति-रतः शान्तो
दानी सत्-सङ्ग-कृन् महान्
श्री-विष्णुदेव-प्राप्त्य्-अर्थं
देव-पूजां चकार ह
viṣṇu-bhakti-rataḥ śānto
dānī sat-saṅga-kṛn mahān
śrī-viṣṇudeva-prāpty-arthaṃ
deva-pūjāṃ cakāra ha
viṣṇu-bhakti-rataḥ—devoted to Lord Viṣṇu; śāntaḥ—peaceful; dānī—generous; sat-saṅga-kṛn—asscoiating with devotees; mahān—noble; śrī-viṣṇudeva-prāpty-arthaṃto attain Lord Viṣṇu; deva-pūjām—the worship of the demigods; cakāra—did; ha—indeed.
English translation of verse 5.10.19:
He was peaceful, generous, and devoted to Lord Viṣṇu. He associated with saintly persons. He worshiped Lord Śiva to attain the company of Lord Viṣṇu.
