यथैन्द्रं हेम-चित्राध्यं
को-दण्डं सप्त-तालकम्
पुरुषैः पञ्च-साहस्रैर्
नेतुं योग्यं बृहद्-भरम्
yathaindraṃ hema-citrādhyaṃ
ko-daṇḍaṃ sapta-tālakam
puruṣaiḥ pañca-sāhasrair
netuṃ yogyaṃ bṛhad-bharam
yathā—as; aindram—of Indra; hema-citrādhyam—wonderfully opulkent with gold; ko-daṇḍam—the bow; sapta-tālakam—seven palm trees; puruṣaiḥ—with men; pañca-sāhasraiḥ—five thousand; netum—to bring; yogyam—proper; bṛhad-bharam—very heavy.
English translation of verse 5.6.27:
Seven tālas long and wonderful with gold, the bow was like the bow of Indra himself. It was so heavy five thousand men were needed to carry it.
