The Garga-samhita Verse 1.7.27, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 7 (Description of the Conquest of All Directions) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

चाणूर-मुष्टिकारिष्ट-
शल-तोशल-केशिभिः
प्रलम्बेन बकेनापि
द्विविदेन समावृतः
तृणावर्ताघ-कूटैश् च
भौम-बाणाख्य-शम्बरैः
व्योम-धेनुक-वत्सैश् च
रुरुधे सो ऽमरावतीम्

cāṇūra-muṣṭikāriṣṭa-
śala-tośala-keśibhiḥ
pralambena bakenāpi
dvividena samāvṛtaḥ
tṛṇāvartāgha-kūṭaiś ca
bhauma-bāṇākhya-śambaraiḥ
vyoma-dhenuka-vatsaiś ca
rurudhe so 'marāvatīm

Aided by Cāṇūra, Muṣṭika, Ariṣṭa, Śala, Tośala, Keśī, Pralamba, Baka, Dvivida, Tṛṇāvarta, Agha, Kūṭa, Narakāsura, Bāṇa, Śambara, Vyoma, Dhenuka, and Vatsa, he besieged the city of Aamarāvatī.
