Source: Wisdom Library: Śilpa-śāstraPhalakakuḍya (फलककुड्य) refers to a “wall made of planks of stone or wood”. It is one of three classifications of temple-walls (kuḍya, or bhitti), according to the Mayamata chapter 15.
Shilpashastra (शिल्पशास्त्र, śilpaśāstra) represents the ancient Indian science (shastra) of creative arts (shilpa) such as sculpture, iconography and painting. Closely related to Vastushastra (architecture), they often share the same literature.
