Kramavivṛddha (क्रमविवृद्ध) refers to “that which increases by degrees”, according to the Amanaska Yoga treatise dealing with meditation, absorption, yogic powers and liberation.—Accordingly, as Īśvara says to Vāmadeva: “[...] Thus, by practising absorption which increases by degrees (kramavivṛddha), the Yogins enjoy supreme bliss, like the great-souled Bhuśuṇḍa and others. Even in the dissolutions of Brahmā, Viṣṇu and Śiva, the yogins enjoy supreme bliss, like the great-souled Bhuśuṇḍa and others. [...]”.
