Of the richest flavor or finest quality;--used of mangoes, the jack, and some other fruits, and of the trees bearing them. Used also of fruits, flowers, plants, seeds, considered as of superior goodness, and as suitable to be sent anywhither, or as having originally come from another district or part. 2 fig. Arrant, arch, thoroughsped, thoroughpaced--a rogue, liar, li- bertine &c. 3 Used as s n the literal sense, Sending, being still unknown. A remittance to the treasury.
