Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarycōndī (चोंदी).—f A plug consisting of a clout or old rags. v ghāla, dē, basava, basa. cōndī dēṇēṃ To stuff (the mouth) with a clout; to clout-gag. Hence fig. or cōndī dēūna jāṇēṃ To gull, trick, cozen.
