Āmardakamāhātmya (आमर्दकमाहात्म्य).—The name of a Sanskrit work included in the Kāverīkhaṇḍa of the Padmapurāṇa. The word māhātmya indicates a special category of Sanskrit literature, usually containing accounts of praise and merit in honour of a sacred place (e.g., Āmardaka), person or object.
