King Ganga is the earliest known member of the dynasty. None of his records are available, He is known from the inscriptions of his son Visvanatha. He may be placed about AD. 1300 as the earliest date for Visvanatha is A.D. 1353. The circumstances which enabled Ganga to found a dynasty are unknown.
