Dose of zinc, incinerated with orpiment, is 2 raktis a day. It is six raktis a day, if incinerated without orpiment. Evil effects of zinc, not properly incinerated. Zinc, not properly purified and incinerated, gives rise to the following diseases:—gonorrhoea, indigestion, flatulence, vomiting, and giddiness. It is therefore to be purified and incinerated properly. Remedy. A man is freed from the evil effects of bad zinc, if he takes for three days bala and haritaki mixed with sugar....
