Symbolic relevance of “Tarkshya” in Sun-worship. Tarkshya is another divine steed closely associated with Dadhikra. Indeed, Tarkshya is the representative of the Sun-god. He is the son of Triksha, i.e. Suparna Garutmat. There are two hymns in the Rigvedasamhita, in where, the deity Tarkshya is invoked.
