Verse 2.39 - Bodies having infinite-fold space-points

अनन्तगुणे परे ॥ २.३९ ॥
anantaguṇe pare || 2.39 ||
The last two (bodies) have infinite-fold (anantaguņā) space-points (pradeśa), consecutively. (39)
Hindi Anvayarth:
अन्वयार्थ: [परे] शेष दो शरीर [अनन्तगुणे] अनन्तगुने परमाणु (प्रदेश) वाले हैं अर्थात् आहारक शरीर की अपेक्षा अनन्तगुने प्रदेश तैजस शरीर में होते हैं और तैजस शरीर की अपेक्षा अनन्तगुने प्रदेश कार्मण शरीर में होते हैं।

Explanation in English from Ācārya Pūjyapāda’s Sarvārthasiddhi:
Are the space-points (pradeśa) of the last two the same, or is there any difference?
The extent of space-points–pradeśataḥ–is supplied from the previous sūtra. It is taken thus. The luminous (taijasa) body has infinite-fold space-points of the projectable (āhāraka) body. And the karmic (kārmaṇa) body has infinite-fold space-points of the luminous (taijasa) body. What is the extent of the multiplying term? It is infinite-fold of the non-potential souls or one/infinite part of the emancipated souls.
