Śrutaskandha (śruta-skandha): Its Sanskrit title mentioned by Śīlāṅka is Gāthāṣoḍaśaka, i.e. the book whose Sixteenth Lecture is called Gāthā. It is mentioned in the Uttarādhyayana XXXI, 13 by the name of the sixteen Gāthas; see above, p, 182.
