City of Rājagṛha,... till (the Lord) ordained as follows:

14. Chapter on Intake in the Paṇṇavaṇā Sūtra is to be referred to in its entirety3.

Bhante! So it is. Glory be to the Lord. So saying, Bhagavān Gautama paid homage and obeisance to Śramaṇa Bhagavān Mahāvīra, and having paid his homage and obeisance, he withdrew to his seat.
