Sayaratchai puja

Sayaratchai puja[1] is performed before sunset, that is, between 5.00 p.m and 6-00 p.m. This Puja is a repetition of the morning puja Pongal is the neivedya for this puja.[2] T he salient feature of this one is that during this puja neivedya and diparadhana are performed for Nataraja. Neivedya and diparadhana are first performed for Siddhi Vinayaka and then they are offered to "Nataraja, Subramanya, Dhakshnamoorthi, and Durgai. The puja ends with offerings to Amman temple.[3]
