Nataraja sabha

A beautiful shrine for Lord Nataraja (Natana Sabha) is facing south. It is the beautiful shrine for Lord Nataraja (Natana Sabha). The shrine faces south. This mandapa has a cell and porch approached by a flight of steps on the south side decorated with balustrades. To the north west of the inner prakara is the Nataraja sabha. It is rectangular on plan facing south. Its entrance has a flight of steps decorated with balustrades. The adhistana of it consists of four stepped upana, Tripatta Kumuda, Kanta, Pattigai and jagati in the form of padma of a Tripatta kumuda and two rows old kanthas interspersed by a kapota moulding carrying kudu arches. The wall raises above the adhistana contains two niches without any sculpture one on either side of the entrance. At present the bronoze images of Nataraja, Sivagami and Manikavasaka were placed.
