Muhamandapa

The Muhamandapa is placed next to Rajagopura [rajagopuram]. This rectangular mandapa is held up pillars which extended from east to west. This mandapa has eight pillars on each side the total pillars of the mandapa is 16 and later on one more pillar is added while at the time of renovation. The pillars are simple and cylindrical in nature. Only one pillar which is later addition has to sculpture of a soldier who hold a sword. On the top of the pillars the sculpture of Panchanurthis are carved.
