Sri Adi Kesava Perumal Temple

This Perumal temple is six miles from the taluk headquarters. The temple is one thousand years old and is built on two acres of land. There are stone inscriptions in Sanskrit. It is learnt that Sri Ramanujar paid a visit to this temple. The Bhattachari performs poojas regularly daily. A significant annual income is realised from the temple lands and is utilized for its expenses. It possesses some wooden vahanas. Sri Rama Navami festival is observed for ten days. On the last day, the Uthsavar is taken out in procession. About 2,000 people gather for the festival.A Board of three trustees is in charge of its management. The other deities in the temple are Sri Mariamman, Selliamman and Vinayagar.
