Sri Lakshminarayana Perumal Temple

Sri Lakshminarayana Perumal Temple lies in Athiyur village which is a three miles from Chingleput railway station. This temple covers an area of 66 cents and was built 150 years ago. It owns 299 acres of lands which fetch a considerable income. The amount is utilized for pooja expenses and towards the Gurukkal’s remuneration. The temple has no ornaments or vahanas nor are any festivals celebrated.
