Scultures of Manjughosa

Clothed in an antariya, held by a girdle with circular clasp, and an uttariya, the Manjusri, with auspicious lines around the neck, is adorned with a short mukuta, a circular urna, an ekavali, ear-studs, armlet with central ornate piece and valayas. A miniature figure of his sire Aksobhya is placed in front of mukuta representing him in bhusparsa-mudra. This icon is identified with Bodhisattva Manjughosa.

Fixed to the lotus pedestal is an oval halo, with three plain mouldings having an edge of bead and tounges of flames at regular interval. It is attached with the back of central figure by means of three undecorated metal bar.
