Part 1.2 - Description of Bor Sabah
One day after the celebration of the Panitula Sabah, there is a custom of celebrating ‘Bor Sabah’ in the ‘Naamghar’. People gather in large numbers in this occasion. The ritual of bringing water from a water source is done on this day also. But this is done only once. The devotees who gather in the Naamghar sing devotional song and ‘maah prasad’ is distributed among the people who gather there. The ‘bhakats’ bless the three girls who fetched water and also bless the village people.[1]
