The Monoism of Hinduism

Subbuswami Krishnamurthy

Hinduism is well established,
referring to one God, the ultimate power,
despite depiction of
different forms of energy
like science that speaks of
sound, light, wind, hydro-power,
terrestial magnetism, gravitation,
radiation etc- under energy transformed,
as a plethoric pantheon of godhead,
fully merged in monotheism,
– the non-dualistic phenomenon.
Rig Veda X, 121, 5: “HE, by whom
the heavenly bodies are uplifted,
and the earth made stable,
by whom the firmament and heavens
are established,
who pervades the entire cosmic spirit,
by HIS spiritual splendour – HE, it is
to whom we offer our prayers”.
