Hoarse has become the tone
whence flowed ever sweet songs
Barren is now the heart wherein
till now oozed poetic streams
The body robbed of all its strength
is only a skeleton
For, Death, the end of this life, and the
beginning of the next awaits me soon.
(We regret to inform the readers that Indira Kumari, one of our scholar contributors died within a month after writing this poem. She had a premonition! May her Soul Rest in Peace.)
