Pure as the shining snow
on the peaks of the Himalayas,
and solitary
as a dew drop,
on the edge of the sword,
testing and teasing
Man’s arrogance,
vulnerable, yet unbeatable...

It stands forlorn amidst
numerous limp flags of “liberation”,
soaked red with the blood
ofmassacred Lamas,
Ancient and ageless,
as if it always existed,
like a born-again Bodhisattva.

If you can’t still find it
in the atlas,
look within,
for it is
a state ofmind...
