Mahatma Gandhi

It is with great pleasure that we have brought out this Special Number of Triveni to commemorate the Birth Centenary of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of our Nation.

It is but appropriate to include in this number some tributes to Rt. Hon. V. S. Srinivasa Sastri, who was a great friend of the Mahatma and who also was born in the  same year.

We extend our grateful thanks to the eminent and learned writers who have contributed very valuable articles to this Special Number.
