We have to save mankind from the
clutches of the locusts,
The crops of humanism are to be salvaged,
The bright, clear human, face with its gaze
Fixed on the pole-star of truth must remain unperturbed.

They have spread themselves in the sky,
In the green valley and field of life,
And, in the unbedimmed glow of light,
have spread the wings of destruction.

The man of the earth wishes to live like man
And to sway himself in the flood
of the music of humanity,
And to grow crops on this earth,
Bearing the sparks of freedom, unity and humanism.

In the length and breadth of the country
And in the wide sky,
The rays of freedom will shine
through the terrestrial light and air,
Redeeming the human crops
And dazzling the world
With the glow of truth and light.
