Beginning. जयति रघुवंशतिलकः कौशल्याहृदयनन्दनो रामः ।
दशवदननिधनकारी दाशरथिः पुण्डरीकाचः ॥ १ ॥
धन्यायोध्या दशरथटपः सा च मातापि धन्या
धन्यो वंशो रघुकुलभवो यत्र रामावतारः ।
धन्या वाणी कविवरमुखे रामनामप्रपन्ना धन्यो
लोकः प्रतिदिनमसा रामवृत्तं श्टणोति ॥ २ ॥
नैमिषेऽनिमिषक्षेत्रे ऋषयः शौनकादयः ।
सत्रं स्वर्गीय लोकाय सहखसममासत ॥ ३॥
एकदा स्रुतमायान्तं दृष्ट्वा तं शौनकादयः ।
परं हर्षसमाविष्टाः पपुर्नैत्रैकचेतसा ॥ ४ ॥
चित्राः श्रोतुं कथास्तत्र परिवनुस्तपखिनः ।
अथ तेषूपविष्टेषु तपखिषु महात्मसु ॥ ५ ॥
निर्दिष्टमासनं भेजे विनयालोमहर्षणिः |
सुखासीनन्ततस्तं च विश्रान्तमुपलक्ष्य च ॥ ३ ॥
[jayati raghuvaṃśatilakaḥ kauśalyāhṛdayanandano rāmaḥ |
daśavadananidhanakārī dāśarathiḥ puṇḍarīkācaḥ || 1 ||
dhanyāyodhyā daśarathaṭapaḥ sā ca mātāpi dhanyā
dhanyo vaṃśo raghukulabhavo yatra rāmāvatāraḥ |
dhanyā vāṇī kavivaramukhe rāmanāmaprapannā dhanyo
lokaḥ pratidinamasā rāmavṛttaṃ śṭaṇoti || 2 ||
naimiṣe'nimiṣakṣetre ṛṣayaḥ śaunakādayaḥ |
satraṃ svargīya lokāya sahakhasamamāsata || 3||
ekadā srutamāyāntaṃ dṛṣṭvā taṃ śaunakādayaḥ |
paraṃ harṣasamāviṣṭāḥ papurnaitraikacetasā || 4 ||
citrāḥ śrotuṃ kathāstatra parivanustapakhinaḥ |
atha teṣūpaviṣṭeṣu tapakhiṣu mahātmasu || 5 ||
nirdiṣṭamāsanaṃ bheje vinayālomaharṣaṇiḥ |
