PREFACE. xi mous commentary on the Bhasya of Sankaracarya on Kenopanisad. Taittiriyaka-bhasyatika (114) is a commentary by Prakatarthakara on Sankara's Bhasya commentary on Taittiriyopanisad. Prasnopanisad Bhasya-Tika (169), by Narayanendra Sarasvati, a disciple of Jnanendra Guru, a disciple of Kaivalyendra, is a commentary on Sankara's Bhasya commentary on Prasnopanisad. Brahmopanisad-vyakhya entitled Krsnatattvaprakasika (185) by Kesava Kasmiri, a writer of the Nimbarka school, is a commentary on Brahmopanisad. Varunyupanisad-Bhasyam (264), by Sayanacarya, is a part of his Bhasya on the Taittiriyaranyaka, namely, the 8 th and 9 th prapathaka of which Rajendralala publishes no commentary in his edition of the Taittiriya Aranyaka. Samhityupanisad- Bhasyam, by Madhavacarya (329), is a part of his commentary on the Taittiriyopanisad, namely, that of the seventh prapathaka in twelve Anuvakas. Of this Prapathaka, too, Rajendralala publishes no commentary. The commentary is also called Siksabhasya. Nos. 329 and 264 notice a complete commentary by Sayanacarya on the Taittiriyopanisad. Mahavakyanirnaya (215), anonymous, contains dessertations on the twelve great sayings from the Upanisads. ADVAITAVADA (VEDANTA DARSANAM). Brahmamrta-varsin (No. 184), by Dharmabhatta, is a new commentary on the Brahmasutras, of the Advaita school. Vakyavrttitika (262) is a commentary on Sankaracarya's Vyakyavrtti. It is the same work as noticed in Rajendralal 1384, in which the commentator's name is given as Anandatirtha. Vivarana tattvadipanam (268), by Akhanda Muni, the disciple of Akhandanubhuti, is a commentary on the Vartika commentary by Suresvara on the Sariraka-bhasya.
