आत्मानं मन्मथं भावयित्वा झौं चापाय नमः -
- इति भ्रुवोश्चापं
न्यस्य, ज्यां ज्यायै नमः -- इति नेत्रयोः ज्यां विन्यस्य, द्रां द्रावण
बाणाय नमः द्वाविण्यै नमः ।
[ātmānaṃ manmathaṃ bhāvayitvā jhauṃ cāpāya namaḥ -
- iti bhruvoścāpaṃ
nyasya, jyāṃ jyāyai namaḥ -- iti netrayoḥ jyāṃ vinyasya, drāṃ drāvaṇa
bāṇāya namaḥ dvāviṇyai namaḥ |

कोदण्डमिक्षुवरमेकशरं च पौष्पं चक्राब्जहस्तसृणिकाञ्चनवंशनालम् ।

This Mantra is addressed to the goddess Bhairavi, i.e., Bhai-
rava's Sakti, conceived as a diety; and its repetition is intended to
enable one to accomplish one's desires.
Beginning :
अस्य श्रीमहाभैरवीमन्त्रस्य कहोलक ऋषिः, ककुत् छन्दः, श्री-
महाभैरवी देवता, ओं बीजं, हुं शक्तिः, स्वाहा कीलकं, ममाभीष्टास-
द्ध्यर्थे विनियोगः ॥
[asya śrīmahābhairavīmantrasya kaholaka ṛṣiḥ, kakut chandaḥ, śrī-
mahābhairavī devatā, oṃ bījaṃ, huṃ śaktiḥ, svāhā kīlakaṃ, mamābhīṣṭāsa-
