The colophon in this MS mentions the name of the work as Brhatkatha. This work is a summarized version of Gunadhya's Brhatkatha in as many Lambas as that of the original (viz., 18); by Ksemendra also called Vyasadasa, who lived in the court of Ananta who, according to M. A. Stein, ruled in Kashmir (1028-1063 A.D.). It has been printed in the Kavyamala. Although this MS. contains many omissions. of words, it supplies some of the omissions found in the printed edition.
