4. Śiva Worship in many Countries

The very ancient origin of the worship of Śiva and its prevalence in many countries of the world have been established by eminent research scholars on the strength of the relics of various kinds connected with Śiva and the construction of temples found in the West, North, and South America, Mexico, West indies, West Africa, Egypt and Arabia and in the East, Java, Sumatra, Indonesia and Australia. A place is called Śiva Temple which is on the hill near the river Colarado in North America, 10,000 years old according to research scholars. A town in Crete in the Mediterranean Sea once inhabited by the ancient “Minavar” people was called Śiva.[1]
