This page relates ‘3c. 3c. Rudra in the Indraturīya sacrifice
The Satyaṣāḍa Śrautasūtra states that Indraturīya sacrifice is performed in connection with battle. This sacrifice includes four oblations.[1] Among these four oblations one is offered to god Rudra. This Śrautasūtra mentions that gāvedhuka caru is offered to Rudra in this sacrifice.[2] Indraturīya is a name of an iṣṭi. This sacrifice is performed at the beginning of the Rājasūya sacrifice.[3]
