4. Atharvaveda-saṃhitā (d): Benevolent characters of Rudra

Rudra is prayed in the morning for good intellect along with other gods.[1] In the 19th kāṇḍa of the Atharvaveda Saṃhitā, a mantra is found where Rudra is invoked along with the Rudras for the welfare of the devotees.[2] An earnest prayer is supplicated to Rudra to increase the cattle in several numbers by curing them from diseases.[3]
