Dialectical terms (28): Confessional retort (abhyanujñā)

A confessional retort (abhynujñā) consists in charging the opponent with a defect by admitting the defect in oneself.[1] This corresponds to the point of defeat called matānujñā of Nyāya-sūtra.[2]
