Dialectical terms (16): Imperfect statement (anuyojya)

An imperfect statement (anuyojya) is a faulty assertion in the form of making only general statements leaving out essential details in such contexts where it is needed.

Example: Some one makes a statement that a given disease is curable by elimination therapy instead of saying that it is curable by emetic or purgation therapy.[1]
