17. Paintings of Jaina religion

Like Hindu and Budda relegion the Jaina relegion has made commendable contribution to the art of paintings. The temple of Mount Abu, the Gomedeswara Statue of Sravana Balagola are the best examples of Jaina sculpture and paintings. Likewise the portraits belonging to eastern India bring us the Jaina subjects. The peculiarity of China paintings was the angular method, but this was not true.
