39. Description of Krishna (rites and rituals)
Krsna rites and rituals (samanyapuja-vidhi)—The Samanyapujavidhi of Krishna is set forth in the 'Srikarastaksaragopalamantradhikara'. Krishnapuja is to be conducted on images of gold or other metals or Vastra, perfectly in conformity with accepted Laksanas and standards and in Astaksaravidhana. Dehalipuja, Pithapuja, Avahana and Avaranapuja and the like that constitute Samanyapuja are to be performed in the respective order. 295 The propitiation of the Deva with all this Puja regimen on all days three times a day is a sure guarantee for Sarvabhista.
