Ankianat is a one act play which is performed in the temple at Assam. This follows many of the Nāṭyaśāstra traditions like pūrvaraṅga, nāndi, etc. The Sūtradhāra plays an important role. Musical prelude dhemali like our pūrvaraṅga. This is performed in the passage in front of the Lord.
