Comparative analysis of commentaries and excerpts in English:
Reflection by Śakti in Ardhabindu, a cup-shaped mirror
Reflection by Śakti in Ardhabindu, a cup-shaped mirror All things-water, fire, mirror etc., capable of reflection need an external object as image. Icchāśakti, who is omnipotent does not actually require any such external object or aid. She projects the reflection, lest the object (as the reflection takes place in Ardhabindu the cup shaped mirror, the Caturaśra (Bhūpura) is flashed first i.e., universal creation in ascending manner from Pṛthvi tattva to Śakti.[1]
Similarity of projection of images as formed in Svapna and Saṅkalpa.
Memory of the things that are merged in Śakti at the time of deluge, get reflected without any need for external object at the time of creation. This image is similar to the projections in Svapna and in Saṅkalpa.
Śakti’s creation effect is real like power of Garuḍa mantra
The projections in Svapna are unreal but the projection of universe by Śivā (wife of Śiva) is divine. Creation is also not a mirage because Saṅkalpa and Vikalpa happening in Manas, can not be neglected. This is similar to acquiring the power of Garuḍa by chanting his Mantra for the purpose of removing snake’s poison. Hence in everything and all times, the proliferation of Citśakti has to be felt.
Śiva illumines the sense of the Jagat as pronounced by Śakti
Understanding of the reality of universe as ‘this is of this form’ occurs in the Seeker[2] thus bringing about oneness with Jagat, then afterwards the memory of ‘the jagat was that’ occurs and the omnipresence of Śiva gets ascertained. Complete knowledge of the Absolute[3] is got, when oneness of Self and Jagat and oneness of Jagat and Paramaśiva are experienced.
All objects of projection are the immanence of Śiva
The reflection shown as Āpas, Agni, Sūrya, Soma, Ākāśa or Vāyu can be felt only when the indriyas and anta:karaṇa are represented by Śiva in his Aṣṭapuri form. The reflection of Jagat by Vimarśa gets illumined by Śiva-Prakāśa. Thus Jagat is Śarīri of Śiva.
