Bhagavatpādābhyudaya a Mahākāvya with the theme of Śaṅkara’s Biography
The most important work of Lakṣmaṇa Sūrin is Bhagavatpādābhyudaya. That gives a beautiful account of the life of great Ācārya Śaṅkara. The hero of the poem is the master mind of the world of men, and the author of the poem is a master poet in Sanskrit. The verses of the kāvya are composed in simple Sanskrit language and have a clear smooth and beautiful flow. This text is divided in to nine chapters (cantos).
