Son of Yayāti.

Genealogy.

Descended from Viṣṇu thus: Brahmā, Atri, Candra, Budha, Purūravas, Āyus, Nahuṣa, Yayāti, Anudruhyu.

Birth.

Yayāti had two sons, Yadu and Turvasu, by Devayānī, and three sons, Druhyu, Anudruhyu and Pūru by Śarmiṣṭhā. (Agni Purāṇa, Chapter 12).
