The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अ इत्यार्षे श्रीवासिष्ठमहारामायणे वाल्मीकीये देवदूतोक्ते मोक्षोपायेषु निर्वाणप्रकरणे उत्तरार्धे बालकाण्डे ॥ २७ ॥

a ityārṣe śrīvāsiṣṭhamahārāmāyaṇe vālmīkīye devadūtokte mokṣopāyeṣu nirvāṇaprakaraṇe uttarārdhe bālakāṇḍe || 27 ||

Here ends the Maharamayana of the sage Vasishtha, with its continuation by his recorder Valmiki, and the speech of the celestial messenger at the latter end of the Book on Nirvana or the ultimate Extinction of the living soul. FINIS.
