The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सतां नयेनोत्तमसेवया च प्रश्नेन चोदारकथागतेन ।
विन्दन्ति वेद्यं सुधियोऽप्रमत्ता वसिष्ठसङ्गादिव राघवाद्याः ॥ ८ ॥

satāṃ nayenottamasevayā ca praśnena codārakathāgatena |
vindanti vedyaṃ sudhiyo'pramattā vasiṣṭhasaṅgādiva rāghavādyāḥ || 8 ||

It is by advice of the good and service under the great, as also by means of humble inquiries to and explications of the learned; that week men of good understandings, can know the knowable, as the Raghavas and others did under Vasishtha.
