The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.213.21

यथायं त्वं सितोदान्तरेक एवादितः कचैः ।
तथा ब्रह्मैवमच्छात्म सर्गे सर्गक्षयेऽक्षयम् ॥ २१ ॥

yathāyaṃ tvaṃ sitodāntareka evāditaḥ kacaiḥ |
tathā brahmaivamacchātma sarge sargakṣaye'kṣayam || 21 ||

The clearness of the divine spirit, ever remains the same and unaltered, both before and after the creation and its dissolution; as a fountain of limpid waters is always clear, whether it reflects the shadows of its bordering arbours or not.
