The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शिष्य उवाच ।
सर्वस्य भगवञ्छिन्धि ममेममतिसंशयम् ।
किं नश्यति महाकल्पे किं वस्तु न विनश्यति ॥ ४ ॥

śiṣya uvāca |
sarvasya bhagavañchindhi mamemamatisaṃśayam |
kiṃ naśyati mahākalpe kiṃ vastu na vinaśyati || 4 ||

The pupil said:—You sir that know all things, now deign to remove this doubt and difficulty of mine, regarding what things die and perish at the great deluge, and what things are not liable to destruction.
