The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.211.1

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
इति तत्रोपविश्याहं पूजितस्तेन भूभुजा ।
प्रयोजनं स्वं संपाद्य स्वर्गन्तुं गगनं प्लुतः ॥ १ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
iti tatropaviśyāhaṃ pūjitastena bhūbhujā |
prayojanaṃ svaṃ saṃpādya svargantuṃ gaganaṃ plutaḥ || 1 ||

Vasishtha resumed:—As I was sitting relating these things to the prince, he honoured me with his obeisance; and then thinking I had dispensed my task to him, rose up to proceed on my aerial journey.
