The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

लोके शास्त्रे च वेदे च यत्सिद्धं सिद्धमेव तत् ।
संवेद्यते तदेवातस्तदेवं फलति स्फुटम् ॥ ३९ ॥

loke śāstre ca vede ca yatsiddhaṃ siddhameva tat |
saṃvedyate tadevātastadevaṃ phalati sphuṭam || 39 ||

The way that is established by the Vedas, and received by the general assent of wisemen; is to be acknowledged, as the right path leading to sure success.
